A purr~fect day

So, you hoomans will be eating lots of chocolate and if you celebrate Easter you’ll be celebrating Easter. Bank holiday means that more hoomans will not be working on Bank Holiday Monday and so there will be more hoomans on the pavements. I don’t really mind hoomans walking on the pavements but purr-lease make sure you leave enough room for us cats, and the birds and the insects and the worms, are worms insects? Mn. I will have to ask Shehooman. Oh and the dogs, don’t forget the dogs they need  a lot of room.

Did I tell you that we have  a lodger? Her name’s Izzy Cat and she was found by shehooman Tina. Shehooman Tina contacted Cats Protection and they took her in. Then shehooman Delphine said she might like to move in here. I think she came in October  and she hasn’t left yet. She eats the food I leave for later and sometimes sticks her paw out and trips me up.

Izzy Cat is 8 years old. I don’t know how old that is but it must be older than me because I’m 6 or 9 years old. Not as old as Izzy Cat.

Whilst I’m sorting out the paperwork Izzy Cat likes to play football, especially with a golf ball and its really noisy.

Its #sardinesaturday today and after we had our lunch we went into the garden-room. Look Izzy Cat is trying to colour her belly!

Psst! Don’t tell anyone but sometimes we have #sardinesaturday on #fishfriday as Izzy Cat needs the oil for her tummy to get going. I don’t know where it goes but shehooman is happy when it goes.

We were enjoying the sunshine. I was in the garden-room and Izzy Cat was lying on the mat. Then a cloud come over so we ran inside. I hope no ones cooking in the sky, I don’t like thunder.

And now we’re pretending to be asleep on the bed.

 

Yesterday I was on The Beach Radio with presenter Kate McCabe. Well I wasn’t actually on there because my Catvan was in the garage being mended but she did talk about me.

My shehooman took me to Gorleston Library…

My shehooman took me to Gorleston Library recently. Well she didn’t take me exactly but she took my books and some cuddly toys.

Here are some photos of author, Rosie Owen, reading book 3 in the Chatty Cat series, ‘Chatty Cat: My Purr-fect Friends’.

     

And whilst Rosie was reading the children coloured my pictures in. Look!

Here are some of the pictures from my Chatty Cat book series (drawn by illustrator, Lynne Rooney). I think the children coloured them in really well.

And this little girl read a story from the book. I hope she liked it.

A box and an ape

Last week this box arrived and my shehooman was really excited. She took out the thing in it and left the box there. I don’t know why, she knows I do not like cardboard boxes. I know, I know that all cats like cardboard boxes but this cat, aka Chatty Cat, does not.

Shehooman put it out in the garden-room and then I had a thought. I could hire it out to my furry friends but how much could I charge? 10 minutes for two treats or 10 treats? What do you think?

This is the inside and the box looks like a bit of a hooman coffin doesn’t it? And if you look through to the back of the box you’ll see something. Can you see it?

Shehooman pulled it out and it’s that bubbly stuff that hoomans like to pop. So I had a thought. When a furry rents the box from me it can give me extra treats for a bit of bubbly for their hoomans. Simples.

Later my shehooman goes out and comes back on her bike with an ape on the back.

I ask him, ‘Where you going to sleep? In the cat den?’ But he doesn’t answer me. I then ask him if he wants to hire my cardboard box and he still doesn’t answer me. So I pull my ears back and bite him on the nose and run away.

Later I hear shehooman telling the telephone that she is going to use the ape for ‘Guess the name of the ape’ at the Memory Walk to raise money for the Alzheimer’s Society.

Still don’t know where he’s going to sleep tonight, do you?

Sorry I’ve been away for so long, I’ve been writing my new books.

Well, I haven’t actually written them cos I can’t write.

Now as you know my books are a series of Chatty Cat books which are unique cos I tell the story to my shehooman, Suzan Collins, and she types them up. You can read about my life and at the same time read some helpful tips on caring for us.

Hello from me, Chatty Cat

This was me yesterday, in the sunshine in my garden-room. And even though it was Fish-Friday I didn’t get any fish to eat. I wonder if it’s Fish-Friday again today. Mn.

The sun switch isn’t on today. I did meow at my shehooman to turn it on but she said she couldn’t (and hoomans think they can do everything. Ha!).

Look at my purr-fect new book covers, they are pawesome.

And guess what; book three in the Chatty Cat series will be out next week. I don’t want to show you the new cover just yet or any of the lovely illustrations done by my illustrator Lynne Rooney but I will show you more when the book is released.

Fish Friday

In Prison…

I was in prison on Friday, don’t know what was worse Shehooman’s driving or the £46.00 she had to pay for my bail. I’ve got an allergy and I’m on steroids, luckily tablets, no needles.
